Daily calendars and trip calendars
The difference between your everyday calendar and trip calendars, and when to use each.
Last updated October 3, 2026
Curricle has two kinds of calendars.
| Daily calendar | Trip calendar | |
|---|---|---|
| For | Everyday plans near home: dinners, shows, appointments | A specific trip: flights, hotels, tours, dinners away |
| Dates | Ongoing | A start and end date you choose |
| On the home screen | Always at the top | Listed below, soonest first |
| How many | One per account | As many as you like |
Each calendar has its own forwarding address, its own list of people it’s shared with, and its own permissions. Forward a confirmation to the calendar it belongs to.
Creating a trip
Tap New trip on the home screen, give it a name (“Napa Valley Weekend”) and pick the dates. If a reservation you forward falls outside the trip’s dates, it’s still added — check the trip’s dates if it doesn’t show up where you expect.
Which calendar should I use?
If the plan involves travel, make a trip. Everything else goes on the daily calendar. You can share them with different people — for example, your daily calendar with your household, and a trip with the friends who are coming along.
