How Curricle works
Forward the confirmation emails you already get, and Curricle builds a shared calendar from them. Here is exactly what happens at each step.
1. Create an account and your first calendar
Sign up with your email address and a password. Curricle confirms the address with a six-digit code, and you can turn on Face ID or fingerprint sign-in on your phone afterwards.
Every account starts with a daily calendar — the place for everyday plans like dinner reservations, concerts and appointments. Give it a name your people will recognize, such as "Smith Family Calendar".
For travel, tap New trip and give it a name and dates, for example "Lisbon & Porto, November 9–20". Trips appear on your home screen in date order, so the next one is always at the top.
2. Forward your confirmation emails
Each calendar has its own private forwarding address, like lisbon-7h2q@in.curricle.app. Copy it from the calendar's screen and forward any reservation email to it from your normal email app.
Curricle understands confirmations for:
- Flights — airline, flight number, departure and arrival times, confirmation code
- Hotels and rentals — check-in and check-out, address, confirmation number
- Dining — restaurant, time, party size
- Activities and events — tours, tickets, shows, games
Many booking emails include a calendar attachment or machine-readable details that Curricle can read directly. When an email has neither, Curricle uses an AI model to pick out the reservation details. Either way, the result is a calendar entry you can open, check and edit.
Tip: add the forwarding address to your contacts as "Curricle – Lisbon" so it auto-completes the next time you forward something.
3. Share it with the people who need it
From a calendar's sharing screen, add people by email address. For each person you decide what they can do: view, add reservations, or also delete them. Anyone who can add can forward confirmations to the same address, so the whole group builds one itinerary together.
If someone doesn't use Curricle yet, they get an invitation email with a link to install the app or open it on the web.
4. Get reminded at the right time
Reminders are timed by type: by default you hear about a flight three hours ahead and a dinner thirty minutes ahead. You can change the lead times in Settings. If you allow it, Curricle can also factor in how far you are from the venue — that calculation happens on your phone, and your location is never uploaded.
5. Look back and rate it
After a reservation has happened, rate it from zero to five stars. On shared calendars everyone's ratings are averaged, so you can quickly find the restaurants and hotels your group loved.
What Curricle keeps — and what it doesn't
Curricle keeps the reservation details it creates and your account email address. It doesn't keep the emails you forward once they're processed, and calendars older than a year are deleted automatically. The privacy policy has the details.
