Privacy policy

What Curricle collects, why, who processes it, how long it is kept, and the choices you have.

Last updated October 3, 2026

Draft prepared for review. Have counsel review before launch; the effective date is set when it is approved.

This policy explains how Diothas Systems, LLC ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Curricle mobile apps, the Curricle web app at app.curricle.app, and this website (together, "Curricle").

The short version

  • Your email address is the only personal detail we require. Your name and avatar are optional.
  • We keep the reservation details created from emails you forward — not the forwarded emails themselves.
  • Your location is used only on your device for reminder timing, and is never sent to us.
  • Calendars are deleted automatically one year after they end.
  • Curricle is free because it shows ads. Our ad partner is Google, and you control ad personalization.
  • We don't sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Account information

Your email address and password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider). Optionally, a first and last name and an avatar choice. We also keep your app preferences, such as time format and reminder lead times.

Calendar content

The calendars you create (names, dates), the people you share them with (their email addresses and permissions), and the reservations in them: titles, times, places, confirmation numbers, notes and ratings.

Forwarded emails

When you or someone you shared a calendar with forwards an email to a calendar's address, we process the email to extract the reservation details. We store the resulting reservation and a small processing record (when it arrived, which calendar, whether it succeeded and the method used). We do not store the body of the forwarded email after processing.

Forward only booking confirmations. A forwarded email can contain other information — for example, a loyalty number or the last digits of a card — and while Curricle only keeps reservation details, avoid forwarding messages with information you don't want processed.

Usage and device information

Your device platform (iOS, Android or web), counts of forwarded emails (used to decide how often full-screen ads may appear, at most once a day), and ad impressions. Our ad partner may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address and ad interactions as described below.

Location

If you turn on travel-time reminders, the app uses your location on your device to estimate when you should leave. This location is not sent to us or stored on our servers.

How we use information

  • To provide Curricle: build and show your calendars, share them as you choose, and send reminders.
  • To send service emails: sign-in codes, invitations you ask us to send, and important account notices.
  • To show ads that pay for the service, and to limit how often they appear.
  • To keep Curricle secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

Service providers

We use these providers to run Curricle. They process information on our behalf and only for these purposes:

ProviderWhat they do
SupabaseDatabase, sign-in and server functions (United States).
PostmarkReceives emails forwarded to calendar addresses. Keeps message copies for a limited period for delivery troubleshooting.
ResendSends sign-in codes and invitation emails.
AnthropicWhen a forwarded email has no machine-readable booking data, its text is sent to an AI model to extract the reservation. Under its commercial terms, this data is not used to train models.
Google (AdMob, AdSense)Shows ads in the apps and on our websites. See "Advertising" below.
HostingerHosts this website.

Advertising

Curricle shows ads served by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies, your device's advertising identifier and similar technologies to show ads, measure them and, where permitted, personalize them based on your visits to this and other sites and apps. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its servicesand adjust personalization at Google's Ad Settings.

If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time (in the app: Settings → Ad privacy choices). On your phone you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in the device settings. See our cookies and ads notice.

Sharing

People you share a calendar with can see that calendar's contents and the email addresses and display names of its members. We share information with the service providers above, when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and others. If the business is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising except as described in "Advertising".

Retention

  • Calendars and their reservations are deleted automatically one year after they end (for daily calendars, items older than one year).
  • Forwarded email bodies are not stored; processing records are kept with their calendar.
  • When you delete your account, your account and the calendars you own are deleted. Reservations you added to someone else's calendar stay with that calendar.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your information in the app, and delete your account in Settings → Delete account. Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia, Colorado, the EEA or the UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your information, and to object to or restrict some processing. To make a request, emailprivacy@curricle.app. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit, access to each calendar is enforced in the database for every request, and staff access is limited and logged. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password and turn on two-step sign-in.

Children

Curricle is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We'll update this page when our practices change and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
